My client is a Building Services consultancy, specialising in their mechanical and electrical services for large residential and mixed-use housing developments. My client is looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer to report to their offices within Greater London.

The Electrical Design Engineering role will entail:

• The use of Revit or AutoCAD to develop schematics, elevations, and details in line within engineering standards, directives, and CDM regulations
• The production of engineering calculations whilst understanding the engineering principles behind the calculations
• The use of CAD and Revit to create drawings for other disciplines whilst maintaining knowledge engineering and industry standards
• Management of design projects, whilst taking the lead on others and managing a small team.

Requirements for an Electrical Design Engineer include:

• MEng or another equivalent qualification within Electrical or Building Services engineering
• Relevant design experience within a building services, mechanical, electrical engineering role
• Strong working knowledge of CAD or Revit and mechanical or Electrical Design standards
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail
