Building on their well-earned reputation, a prestigious client base and a strong order book they now seek to recruit a talented, motivated Electrical Design Engineerto join their established Design Team. Role and Responsibilities: -
-Working under the Design Manager to produce Electrical Design drawings and calculations.
-Site co-ordination including liaison with different trades.
-Providing technical support to our Contract’s teams.
-Conduct site surveys and reports.
-Work closely with the contracts team to ensure project delivery.
-Undertake other duties and responsibilities relevant to the team / post.
Applicants must possess the following: -
-Hold a Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Building Services Engineering & HND Electrical/Electronic engineering.
-Knowledge in the use of Autodesk software to include AutoCAD
-Experience in Microsoft Office packages, Including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
-Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
-Ability to meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure.
-Ability to work flexibly, self-motivate, be able to take ownership and act on own initiative.
-Excellent organisational skills with the ability to co-ordinate activities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Criteria: -
-Experience working in the construction industry.
-Familiar with software packages such as Amtech, Dialux & Simaris.
-Knowledge of Autodesk Revit 2018/19 & Navis Works.
-Understanding BIM & it’s uses.
-Awareness of BS 7671, BS EN PAS 1192 & City and guilds 18th Edition.
-Understand the importance of Health & Safety procedures and CDM responsibilities.
Attractive starting salary, negotiable depending on experience.
