Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in 11kV and 33kV power systems. Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Design: Design, develop, and evaluate electrical systems for 11kV and 33kV power distribution networks.

Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in the analysis, design, and evaluation of electrical systems, including protection schemes, substation design, and network planning.

Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures to enhance the safety and reliability of electrical systems.

Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and documentation for projects.

Testing and Commissioning: Assist in the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Cost Estimation: Participate in cost estimation and budgeting activities for projects.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, mechanical, and civil engineers, to deliver integrated solutions.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on 11kV and 33kV systems.

Proficiency in electrical design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, PSCAD).

Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
