Here at Futures we are currently supporting a Leading FMCG Food manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire
Due to continuous growth and expansion, with some exciting projects on the horizon the business is looking to appoint an Electrical Duty Holder to support the Engineering department in overseeing Electrical work onsite.
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, an Electrical Duty Holder will be responsible for maintenance of the overall standard and quality of electrical work onsite.
Key Responsibilities of an Electrical Duty Holder:
- Ensuring all electrical work on site is completed to desired standards and adhering to health and safety at work regulations.
- Overseeing Electrical Installation and Commissioning work onsite.
- Contractors’ management and permit control
- Ensure that all LV and HV maintenance is carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Ensure as site owner for electrical compliance regarding machinery and functional safety to support the factory.
- Act as the contract manager for various electrical 3rd party contracts.
Successful Electrical Duty Holder will have:
- Knowledge and experience for PLC systems, preferably Allen Bradley and Schneider.
- Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning and/or maintenance execution desired but not required.
- Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 4 equivalent in a relevant electrical engineering discipline.
- Demonstrable knowledge / experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG).
- Proven track record delivering digitalisation within manufacturing
