Are you an Electrical Engineer looking to join a 50-year-old business with an extensive client base who modify food processing and packaging machinery for supply to a wide range of clients in the UK and Ireland, from PLCs through to independent producers?
Due to the continued success and growth of the business we are actively seeking an Electrical Engineer to work on a wide range of machinery from stand-alone manual bag sealers to full turnkey automated production lines, including robotics.
On offer is a role where you will be at the forefront of innovative ideas, playing an integral part in the company's specialist multi-million-pound projects. You will be a key member for the team helping to deliver high quality, safe capital equipment.

The Requirements:

• Build electrical control cabinets from component level
• Build and wire systems electrically and mechanically
• Carry out modifications to existing machines
• Good understanding of industrial electrical principles including high current power circuits and low voltage control circuits
• Basic understanding of PLC's
• Basic mechanical knowledge including pneumatics
• Maintain safe working practices
• Able to understand electrical drawings
• Good knowledge of safety systems
• Minimum 17th edition qualification
• Full clean driving licence due to rural location, own transport will be required
