We have an exciting opportunity for anElectrical Engineer to join our team at our Sutton Plant.
What you’ll do:
- To provide support within the Engineering Department at the Sutton site.
- Apply technical competence to the implementation of New Product Development (NPD) projects, Engineer to Order (ETO) projects, Value Analysis/ Value Engineering (VAVE) projects and sustaining legacy products.
Responsibilities
- Integrate and participate with the project teams to ensure high team performance.
- To be able to demonstrate both independent and collaborative working.
- Demonstration of ownership and management of assigned tasks.
- To provide accurate estimates of task durations and to report progress against agreed schedules. To ensure self-development under the guidance of the Engineering Manager or Senior Engineers. To ensure that information or data required is produced to the levels defined within Eaton’s quality systems.
Qualifications:
- HNC in Electrical Engineering or above
Skills:
- Effective communication, including writing and reporting across a range of stakeholders.
- To be a proficient user of electrical CAD tools ERP system and PDM/Document Management.
- Understands high and low volume product development.
- To be proficient within the following Electrical engineering key design disciplines:
- Electrical Circuit testing
- PCB manufacture
- Wiring/Circuit diagrams
- Part/ product finishing methods for both high & low volume manufacture
- Electrical component functions
