Electrical Engineer

Astute’s team is exclusively partnering with a leader in state of the art materials recycling to recruit an Eelctrical Engineer with an electrical bias to join their brand new facility in Coventry.

The strategically important Electrical Engineer with an electrical bias role comes with a salary of �45,000- �55,000 dependant on experience.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Technical Shift Manager you will:

* Support with the daily maintenance tasks across the recycling process plant, including working to planned preventative maintenance schedules and reacting effectively to breakdowns when needed.
* Mechanical and electrical fault finding and root cause analysis on the heavy machinery.
* Support with the overall equipment efficiency, ensuring down time is minimised and the plant runs at optimum performance.
* Be able to deliver all work set to the operational expectations and budgetary requirements.
* Log accurate maintenance records via the CMMS.
* Working as part of a shift pattern
* Other duties as required.

This role is working on a rotating shift pattern including earlies and late shifts. Please only apply if this is suitable.
Professional Qualifications & Personal Skills

We are looking for someone with the following:

* 18th Edition is essential
* A good understanding of mechanical and electrical fault finding and diagnosis and the initiative to solve problems effectively.
* Willing to work in a dusty environment.
* Excellent communication and team working skills is essential.

Salary and benefits of the Electrical Engineer role

* Basic salary of �45,000 - �55,000 DOE + overtime
* Holiday allowance of 25 days + bank holidays
