SalaryAs a rapidly growing Electrical Department within a larger Facilities Solution Provider, we are currently offering an opportunity to join our team as an Electrical Estimator.

Our sector is a fast paced, high volume, reactive and planned maintenance electrical works, therefore you will need to be self-motivated, a problem solver, adaptable, and have a willingness to learn new skills & take on challenges, working on your own or as part of a larger team.
Electrical Estimator Responsibilities:
- Liaising with the contracts manager to review outstanding quotes.
- Communicating with clients and to meet on sites to survey works ensuring all requirements and expectations are met.
- Review issued specifications, engineers information and other relevant documents.
- Evaluation of potential project risk on both commercial and deliverable aspects
- Producing and delivering accurate electrical and specialist estimates in-line with both specifications and industry requirements
- Ensuring tender submissions are comprehensively reviewed and qualified correctly
- Determining type, quantity, cost of materials and fixtures needed for each project
- Regular team meetings and tender reports
- Reviewing quotes not won and liaising with clients for feedback.
Working Hours:
- Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm
- Additional hours as required to meet client and company expectations
Skills Needed
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel/Word/Outlook)
- The ability to read tender specifications, drawings and produce detailed pricing cost plans
- The ability to self-manage time and workloads and multi-task various projects sequentially
- Ability to liaise and converse with clients in a professional manner
- Full UK driver's licence
