We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team in Brighton. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation and contributing to the success of our electrical engineering endeavors. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive estimates for electrical projects, considering all relevant factors such as materials, labour, and overhead costs. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimations. Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine project requirements and scope. Review and assess project risks, identifying potential cost implications and proposing mitigation strategies. Prepare detailed and competitive bids and proposals in accordance with client requirements and company standards. Maintain accurate records of estimates, including cost data, assumptions, and supporting documentation. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical estimating within the construction or engineering industry. Solid understanding of electrical systems and components. Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
