Electrical Estimator required to assess and estimate costs for electrical projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. The successful candidate will play a key role in pre-construction process, collaborating with various stakeholders to produce detailed and comprehensive project estimates. If you have a strong background in electrical estimating, or have worked as an electrician or electrical engineer and you're looking to come off the tools, this is a great opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather relevant information for estimating purposes
• Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to develop detailed project cost breakdowns
• Research and obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
• Prepare and present comprehensive and clear estimates to management and clients
• Stay abreast of industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure up-to-date and accurate estimates
• Participate in bid reviews and negotiations with clients as needed
• Assist in the development and maintenance of relationships with suppliers and subcontractors

Package:

• Salary £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
• Hybrid role
• 33 days holiday
• 8% pension
