As an Electrical Fitter, you will be working alongside 40 Electrical Fitters & 30 apprentices within a supportive and dynamic team.
In your first few weeks in this Electrical Fitter role, you can expect to:
- Carry out Electrical Testing on 12v, 24v, 110v, 240v & 440v systems
- Execute various crimping techniques and soldering
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and defect rectification in accordance with the project schedules to meet customer quality expectations
- Installation, testing and maintenance of communications equipment such as VHF radios, Intercom, GPS and AIS
To apply for this Electrical Fitter role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- NVQ Level 3 Apprentice trained Electrician
- Good understanding of safe systems of work, including electrical work, confined spaces & working at height
- Marine or offshore experience with a deep understanding of electrical work
You must also currently meet UK Security Clearance requirements including the last 5 years continuous residency in the UK
