SalaryVentus is working with a renewable energy engineering company to recruit an Electrical Infrastructural Engineer for their projects in the UK. You would be responsible for designing, planning and maintaining their electrical systems and equipment for the projects and look after all electrical engineering aspects for infrastructural development.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for plans, layouts and design specifications for cables, connectors, transformers and other power electronics equipment.
Increase efficiency of power distribution systems and conduct load flow/ short circuit analysis.
Contract management for cable and connectors route plans and installation.
Work in collaboration with civil and structural engineers and liaise with other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery from concept to completion.
Provide support with all technical report and documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Set up processes for maintenance, upgrades and modifications in the electrical systems.
Knowledge and Education
Academic background in electrical engineering or other relevant discipline.
Experience in electrical design and maintenance roles.
Adept at electrical design software and tools.
Sound understanding of renewable energy industry would be an advantage.
