Description
We are currently seeking an Apprentice Electrical Engineer to join our team in London. This apprenticeship program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain practical experience and expand their knowledge in the field of electrical engineering on a four-year program.
- Assist electrical engineers with the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and recommend process improvements.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English – minimum grade C/4 and Maths –a minimum of a strong grade B/6 or equivalent OR if you have already completed a L2 Electrical qualification we can accept a Grade C/4 in Maths.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Health and safety-conscious mindset.
This apprenticeship is delivered as a day release, you will be required to attend college one day a week.
