We have a Nationwide client who is looking for multiple Electrical Installation Engineers for their business. They are an auto Electrical Installation service provider, offering a comprehensive supply and installation service for various vehicle aftermarket products such as telematics and cameras.
As an Installation Engineer, you'll have the chance to work with a wide range of vehicle types, including domestic cars, fleet vehicles, light commercials, and heavy goods vehicles, alongside experienced professionals in the field.

As an Installation Engineer, you will play a vital role in operations, representing both the company and their clients. Your responsibilities include consistently delivering high-quality installations of ancillary equipment, from basic telematics to advanced vehicle CCTV systems, while maintaining excellent customer service standards and upholding the company's brand image. You'll collaborate with a team of engineers, promoting safe driving practices and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
DIMENSIONS:
- Field-based role with extensive travel across the UK.
- Key external relationships: Customers, Business Partners.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Install aftermarket equipment ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency.
- Proficiency in telematics and other ancillary equipment.
- Utilise laptops/iPads for reporting and data capture.
- Address complaints and report back to the line Manager/customer service.
- Work collaboratively with a team of Engineers.
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies.
- Act as the face of the company, providing excellent customer service.
- Promote company values and ethos.
- Mentor apprentices (Desirable).
- NPPV security clearance/ DBS check (Desirable).
ORGANISATION:
- Delegate tasks to potential apprentices.
- Responsible for maintaining company equipment and stock.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Up-to-date knowledge of Auto Electrical installations and industry standards.
- Field-based customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
- Auto Electrical/Light vehicle qualification (desirable).
- Electric/Hybrid vehicle qualification (desirable but not expected).
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:
- Competence in using mobile tablet, laptop, and other equipment.
- Familiarity with industry regulations (desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (desirable).
