The Role:
As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in our Electrical Installation program. You will develop content and implement effective teaching strategies, develop curriculum materials, and provide mentorship and support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lectures and practical sessions in Electrical Installation.
- Develop content and KPI's
- Update and maintain curriculum materials and course outlines.
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
- Marking and tracking
- Manage student absences as required
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the electrical industry.
- A recognized qualification in Electrical Installation (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous teaching or training experience in a further education or vocational setting.
- Recognised Teaching Qualification.
