This is a pivotal role within the running of this successful international company. They are looking for an Electrical Instrument Engineer to join this fantastic team in their Felixstowe Factory.
You will be responsible for:
- Reactive and preventative maintenance of all plant equipment.
- Completing all site calibrations.
- Proactively proposing equipment/system upgrades, keeping close contact with contractors.
- Actively pursue faults through troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Assisting the Mechanical Engineers, with routine mechanical maintenance where required.
- Spare part stock monitoring and preparation.

The hours are 8am- 4:30pm Mon- Fri, fantastic salary of 43k + overtime + on call, you will also receive 25 days holiday on top of bank holidays and an unheard-of pension scheme of 10%!
what were looking for.
The successful candidate will come from similar role with relevant qualifications (Instrument Technician NVQ3 or above/equivalent). You will have good practical knowledge and experience of calibrating various instrumentation (flow, level and pressure), be used to working with electrical systems at least to 3ph 415v with good all-round mechanical and electrical experience. Being careful and thorough in your work, excellent attention to detail and carrying out that extra check is essential.
