Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Basic Salary: £29,420 pa– plus shift & call out allowance (Guaranteed salary £34,159)
Overtime available (OTE £38,000)
Reporting to: Engineering Manager
Shifts: Days, Full time

This exciting role for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer will need to be competent in working with a minimum amount of supervision, and able to self-manage their workload as well as working alongside an engineering team. Capable of working from a plan covering planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance across all disciplines.
Responsibilities for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role:
- Electrical controls, PLC’s.
- Routine planned and preventive Maintenance.
- Fault Finding & Diagnostics.
- Monitoring and control of Utility Systems.
- Variable Speed drives.
- Completing basic reports.
- Call outs - 1 week per month, including site visits over the weekend.
- Use power and hand tools to perform a variety of tasks including machine repair, electrical, electronic, and maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or City & Guilds Electrical Engineering.
- 18th Edition IEE Regulations.
- 2 years - Site Services (Ideally utility experience but not essential).
- Production and/or Manufacturing.
- Experience working with PLCs, Variable Speed drives, compressors, boilers, water treatment plants, and fire sprinkler systems would be an advantage.
