Responsibilities:
- The Electrical Maintenance Engineer main responsibilities will include maintaining, servicing, and repairing all machinery utilized in the manufacturing process.
- The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will aim to minimize production downtime and uphold a high standard of housekeeping.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks as necessary.
Have you done the following:
- Ideally, you should possess a background in manufacturing, although it is not mandatory.
- Completion of an apprenticeship with electrical qualifications as a minimum requirement.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering diagrams/drawings and understanding control circuits/schematics.
- The Electrical Maintenance Engineer must have hands-on experience with DC/AC drives, electrical hoists, and three-phase motors.
- Familiarity with safety and light circuits, inverters, PLC systems, relays, and speed control systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in working with sensors.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems is advantageous.
- The Electrical Maintenance Engineer must have Mechanical understanding of gearboxes, pumps, and pneumatics would be beneficial.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and plan tasks, even under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Adherence to processes, particularly concerning health and safety protocols and manual handling procedures.
