We have an opening with a successful heavy manufacturing company who are searching for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team.What will your day to day activities as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer include?The role, based in the Dudley Borough, will expect you to be responsible for preventative maintenance and plant building maintenance works and to carry out installation works on machinery. This role will require fault finding on 415v, 240v, 110v and 24vac and dc systems, following CCT diagrams, input/output on PCV’s and much more. You will be fixed on a shift pattern of 6am – 2pm, 8pm – 6am, 1pm – 9pm. This role will be based in a heavy engineering environment so you must be prepared to ‘get your hands dirty’. This role will also require a Saturday morning of work once in every 3 weeks.What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?
- A strong electrical background with recent experience in a similar position.
- Experience working with PLC's would be advantageous
- DC drives basic knowledge is desirable
- 18th Edition is preferred
- Experience working in a heavy engineering environment.
- Completed apprenticeship / NVQ is desirable
- Any experience working with slitting and docoiling machines would be advantageous.
- A hardworking mentality.
- An honest and reliable personality.
