Location: Weston-Super-Mare

Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 (+ bonus)

Shift: days (M-F)

Our client, a leading manufacturer supplying products to a wide range of market sectors is looking for two Maintenance Engineers with good PLC programming experience to join their existing Maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with PLC programmingt expereince to join a market leader that is committed to enhancing equipment performance and providing clear development opportunities for their workforce. There are additional bonuses paid aswell as signifianct regualr overtime paid at enahnces rates.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Preventative and reactive maintenance fault finding on electomechanical equipment
• Working with Siemens S7 both for fault finding and improvements/ adjustments to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
• working closely with and train the shift technicians to better understand the S7 programme and associated hardware.
• Ensuring that production targets are met using the appropriate technical support in the correction, prevention and elimination of technical problems
• Driving the move from a reactive culture to an improvement culture enhancing equipment performance and reliability

The skills and experience you'll bring to the team:

• Ideally level 3 related qualification
• Proven experience making PLC programme adjustments within a production environment
• Siemens S& experience as well as TIA Portal. Win CC, Scada, HMI, Scalance and Profinet experience would also be ideal or a willingness to train on these systems.
• Familiar with Rexroth Servo motors and Indra drives. Experience with Inverters and 3 phase motors also required.
