The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on several manufacturing processes, driven by Instrumentation and PLC automated machinery. The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with electrical bias, but multi-skilled and have automated machinery experience, such as motors, drives, inverters and instrumentation and automated machinery. You will also be involved in mechanical work on pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other manufacturing medium to heavy machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
