Electrical Maintenance/Project Technician Liskeard, Cornwall
Electrical Maintenance/Project Technician required to complement the existing Maintenance and Projects team, in an industry-leading manufacturer of polymer products for the industrial, marine, and rail industries.
As an ElectricalMaintenance/Project Technician, you will be required to carry out fault-finding activities on a range of machinery control systems and PLCs, engage in planned and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and carry out electrical installation, testing, instrumentation, and calibration.
Your Experience:
- Experienced in fault finding on machinery control systems and PLCs
- Exposure to motor drive systems, AC, and DC up to 390Kw
- Experience in electrical testing, instrumentation, and calibration.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
About you:
- You have a thorough working knowledge of the IEE and Electricity at Work Regulations.
- You have a strong understanding of the requirements of electrical safety systems.
- You have a flexible working attitude with an ability to work as an individual or as part of a wider team in line with company objectives.
- You have up-to-date Electrical regulations (18th Edition) or a willingness to work towards this.
In return for the above you will receive a salary of GBP34,000 - GBP37,000 (plus shift allowance), a stakeholder pension scheme of 5% minimum contribution matched at 4%, various shift options, 25 days holiday entitlement, and a company sick pay scheme.
