Linsco is currently recruiting an Electrical Manager for an established and reputable main contractor, who will be responsible for the day to day management of multiple projects across various sectors. As the Electrical Manager, you will also ensure that the allocated projects are run efficiently and profitably ensuring full compliance to Health & Safety legislation and contract conditions.

Other responsibilities will include, but not limited to;

• All aspects associated with the role of a qualified electrical engineer with proven experience of estimating.
• Estimating/tendering and submitting pricing documents.
• Understanding of the contract design and construction drawings.
• Managing specialist commercial and industrial nominated sub-contractors.
• Attendance of regular site meetings with client, Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Planning Supervisor etc.
• Preparation of contractor's reports for site meetings, contract programmes and progress reports.

To be considered and success, you will need to have but not limited to;

• NVQ City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition, Amendment 2 Certification (AM2), ECS/JIB Card or able to obtain an ECS/JIB card
• 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection, Testing and Certification
• SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely (Desirable)
• Experience of working within a similar environment including electrical installations & project management
• Experience of technical knowledge of commercial and industrial installations within the electrical sector
• Experience of managing teams and excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Health and Safety legislation and compliance

Successful applicants are required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (BDS) check, Prison CTC Clearance and Enhanced Police Clearance.
