Electrical Engineering Trainer (MOET)
Apprenticeships
Permanent vacancy – 22.5 hours per week (3 days)
£27,575 to 33,878 per annum (£16,768 to £20,601 pro rata)

Our new Electrical Engineering Trainer will support a caseload of apprentices to meet the requirements of the Manufacturing Operations Engineering Technician qualifications (electrical pathway), as well as enabling each individual learner to progress to their next career steps.

The MOET Electrical Engineering Trainer will be working within our well-equipped workshops in the College and will also be visiting apprentices and their employers in the workplace. This ensures that the skills taught in the workshops are then developed to meet the needs of the employer and to meet the requirements of the Apprenticeship Standard. There is no requirement to deliver functional skills within this role, as we have a separate team that will deliver this requirement.

We are an award-winning Apprenticeship provider! Our apprentices have won a range of awards including the Apprentice of the Year at the Association of Colleges (AoC) Student of the Year awards and Hallam Hero Awards. Come on board and join our growing team.

Please note you will be directed to the Barnsley College website to complete your application. Closing date for Applications Thursday 7th September 2023 – We reserve the right to close this vacancy early depending on the level of interest.

Barnsley College is committed to creating a dynamic and diverse workforce and welcomes applications from all candidates regardless of their gender, disability, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or faith. Disabled applicants who meet the minimum essential criteria will be guaranteed an interview. The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure from DBS.

Please be aware that it is a Criminal offence to apply for this post if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity in connection to children
