A great opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join one of the largest, manufacturing companies in the world who supply to various industries including Construction & Automotive.
Job Description:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability.
- Undertake planned and emergency repairs in a safe and timely manner.
- Contribute towards system/process improvements and take responsibility for organising safety checks and inspections (i.e. Portable Appliance Testing, Lifting Equipment etc).
- Maintain stock levels of machinery spares and consumables.
- Carry out fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown situations.
- Implement best practice H&S measures and assist in further development and improvement of existing maintenance procedures.
- Assume responsibility for contractor control on site.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship in either mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 17th or preferably 18th edition wiring regulations.
- Pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC experience
- Experience in installations and project commissioning.
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience of electrical maintenance within a processing or manufacturing environment.
- Experience of using SAP or other business system
- Ability to lone work
Additional details:
- Salary £40K - £45K
- Days only - 39 hour week - Mon - Fri
