Duration - 9 months
Location - Stewartby, Bedfordshire.
About the Role
We are currently working in partnership with an established EPC Contractor within the UK Power Industry. We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Package Manager to join the Principal Contractor on a new a build Open Cycle Gas Turbine project based in Stewartby, Bedfordshire. The Electrical Package will oversee the full electrical installations, whilst monitoring the Electrical Sub-contractors day to day activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Electrical Package Manager, you will be responsible for:

• You will be responsible for overseeing the full Electrical installations.
• Installation of HV supply packages
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors.
• Have had experience working with 11kv power supply's
• Document day-to-day activity for the Electrical Install.
• Ensuring that all Health & Safety processes and procedures are followed.

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Ideally have OCGT or CCGT project experience, however, other project experience such as Energy from Waste is a desirable.
• Ability to organise and manage time effectively.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well with other teams within the company
• Ability to show good leadership
• Adequate experience of the electrical work being carried out (i.e. all the electrical systems needed for an Open Cycle Gas Turbine Erection and Installation Works;
• A good understanding of the hazards which may arise during the work and the precautions which need to be taken

Location, remuneration and time frame for the Electrical Package Manager position:

• £450.00 to £500.00 per day outside IR35
• Stewartby, Bedfordshire
• Immediate start
