We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Production Operative/panel wirer to contribute to the production of high-quality electrical components that could be used in underground railways, marine and offshore, automotive industry, building technology, lighting technology and much more!
What you'll do:
* Execute the assembly and production of electrical wiring according to established specifications and quality standards.
* Operate machinery and equipment for cutting, stripping, and crimping wires to meet production requirements.
* Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical instructions for accurate assembly.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain a smooth and efficient production workflow.
* Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to create a secure working environment
What you need:
* Proven experience withing electrical wiring and assembly
* The ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings produced from CAD
* To be able to use all associated hand tools and machinery
* A high attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
* Basic trouble shooting skills for identifying and resolving wiring issues
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
* Physical fitness to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
What you'll get:
* £26,000 per annum
* Overtime hours paid at elevated rates
* Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 16:30, Friday 15:15 finish
