Electrical Project Design Engineer

Southampton / Hybrid working

6-month contract / Outside IR35

Rate £45.00 - £50.00p/h DOE

Chemical / Process / Amtech / AutoCAD

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a key client based in the South-East, who are specialists in engineering within the chemical & process industries. They are looking for an experienced ElectricalEngineer from a design and project background on an initial 6-month contract.

The successful Electrical Project Design Engineer will be required to conduct the following duties:

• Design and detailing using AutoCAD & Amtech
• Support client reviews of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering deliverables
• Oversee the project team in line with defined and approved requirements
• Support client tendering and procurement processes associated with contracted works

The successful Electrical Project Design Engineer will need to have the following attributes:

• Preferably Educated to HND/Graduate level and/or demonstrating relevant practical experience.
• Experience in Electrical Design / Project engineering environment
• Ability to check technical designs
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
