AddressElectrical Project Manager
Working with a specialist contractor that predominantly installs and upgrades data center's. This successful regional contractor are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager. You will be overseeing electrically biased projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities will include
- Building a strong working relationship with the client
- Refining the design process and specifying components, feeding information into an inhouse CAD team
- Ensuring that the design and materials comply with the client’s specification
- Developing the construction programme
- Accepting client driven variations and altering the design, programme and budget accordingly
- Ordering materials with a long lead time
- Work with the allocated Site based Project Manager, assisting with setting up the site and enabling works
- Provide ongoing technical support during the construction process
- Assist with Project Estimations
- Support Managing Director with team development and growth.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field we would also consider people with other qualifications if your project and management experience is extensive.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Preconstruction Management or Operation Manager delivering medium scale Electrical Projects within the construction industry
- Experience working with data centre project or other similar facilities is desirable
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and materials
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
- A UK Driving License is required for this role
