We currently have a superb opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager (Electrical) to join the team at a global pharmaceutical company based at a facility in Northern Ireland.
The Electrical Engineering Project Manager with be responsible for planning, management, coordination and financial control of Electrical Projects in a highly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with project teams to establish Electrical Project requirements and milestones
- Co-ordinate resources, monitor risks and escalate any issues
- Ensure that LV/HV systems are delivered to the business in line with timescales and budget
- Lead development of cost effective electrical design solutions
- Organise testing, commissioning and validation of new facilities and equipment
- Evaluate technical proposals and prepare budget estimates
- Support tender process and supplier selection
- Set team targets and monitor performance via reviews, objectives and 1:1 sessions
Key requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years' experience of project delivery within a pharmaceutical or similar highly regulated environment - full life-cycle and budget responsibility
- Extensive experience of project delivery through a comprehensive project management process
- Project management certification
- Experience in a leadership role
- Knowledge of LV Systems, LV Distribution, UPS and LV supplies
- Recognised H&S certification (IOSH/NEBOSH)
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Strong presentation skills
