MillTech is working with their client in Milton Keynes who are growing their team rapidly due to a large increase in project commitments.
Their Electrical testing division is one of the fastest growing areas for the business and are looking to add 3 Electrical Safety Test Engineers at Senior-Mid levels.

You will be joining an exciting team covering the following responsibilities:

• Complete Electrical Safety evaluations covering Medical, Lighting, Appliances & Electronics, Renewable Energy, Industrial Equipment and Life Safety & Security products
• Management of projects within the company s guidelines
• Technical documentation and processes against standard requirements
• Complete and review evaluation test reports and ensure evaluations are completed to standard and within set timescales
• Provide technical support to the wider business
• Communicate and work closely with customers
• Ensure evaluations are conducted within quality system and accreditation requirements

To succeed in this position, we are looking for Electrical Safety Test Engineers with the following background:

• Proven experience in safety critical function design/development of electrical products and product Safety Testing
• Experience and knowledge in one or more Electrical Safety standards including IEC / EN 60598 / 62031 / 60335 / UL153 / UL1598
• Understanding of different certification schemes and processes
• Experience of generating test reports for customers and certification purposes
• Ability to fault find down to component level
• Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory
• Good understanding of excel, word and data retention systems
• Ideally Degree educated or hold a relevant Electrical/Electronic formal qualification
