Electrical Site Supervisor

ARC M&E division are looking for an Electrical Site Supervisor required for our client who are a leading mechanical and electrical company based in the Peterborough area. Due to recent success, they are looking for a hardworking and experienced individual to join their already successful team.

The Site Supervisor will be located on a site in Wissington, PE33 so will need to live in a commutable distance of this for an industrial site.

Site Supervisor Position Overview

• Set up quoted works inclusive of the job pack. Run through the scope of work, RAMS and material list on site. Walk through the job with the engineers to ensure they understand what is required on site.
• Assist with and carry out toolbox talks, site inspections and provide input for monthly Contractor H&S data collation, issues and meetings.
• Set up daywork jobs as above.
• Ensure materials are ordered and arrive in sufficient time for efficient progress on site and prevent the need for tradesmen going to the wholesalers.
• Ensure sufficient information (technical as well as general methods) is available to the tradesmen for smooth running of the works.
• Be aware of the timescales for each job and be responsible for completion on time.
• Log additions and variations to the works and feed back to the site manager or admin office.
• Ensure completion of jobs, snag check and test sheets.
• Assist with collecting information for enquiries to allow for quotations to be produced, possibly carry out small quotations in times of high load.
• Work on the tools if all other supervisor duties are up to date.
• Assist in the development of electricians.
• Reporting to the onsite PM.

• As a fully qualified electrician
• In the commercial and industrial sectors
• Working on a variety of sites
