We're currently on the lookout for a proficient Electrical Supervisor to oversee the performance of our regional Electric department. So, what will you be doing?
As an Electrical Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to manage the work schedule for our regional Electric team. Your role extends to ensuring that we meet targets and company objectives in accordance with customer expectations and industry best practices. Here are some key aspects of the position:
- Implement, manage and monitor our company NERS accreditations and associated documentation;
- Be commercially aware of contracts in your region and their commercial performance;
- Support and work across departments to ensure safe working practices are in place, promoting a positive Health and Safety culture;
- Assist the management team in driving the development of the team and its offering.
What do you need to have?
To excel in this role, you should possess a demonstrable track record in an operational position within the electricity industry, ideally within a DNO. Additionally, you should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience within a supervisory role, alongside an ability to support, lead and develop a highly focused team to meet deadlines and deliver on objectives;
- Valid NRSWA, SMSTS, EUSR and CSCS;
- A can-do approach, ‘making it happen’, with the ability to work to tight deadlines;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team, finding better ways to complete tasks.
