- Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates leadership and commitment to HSEQ. Actively encourages and leads the HZI and contractor teams to implement and comply with project HSEQ requirements
- Ensures that all relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated into area of responsibility and that, in consultation with site management and HSE team, HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable
- Ensures that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed with regards to HSE requirements, and that work is carried out in accordance with the RAMS
- Is responsible for the safety and HSE performance of all personnel under their control, and for stopping work where this might be compromised
- Implements standardized methods in order to identify complex problems
- Supports pro-actively the project team to achieve objectives
- Ensures works within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with the contract, and conform with project time and budget requirements
- Co-operates with erection contractors and exchanges experience with colleagues responsible for products and other project teams and specialist departments
- Site Supervisor Electrical keeps the Site Head Electrical informed of all site-related activities
- Is aware of the HSE requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them
What You Will Need:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree
- Experienced as supervisor in construction of large industrial plant.
- Experienced in the co-ordination of contracts / contractors on site.
- Experienced as a leader of HSEQ and has knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal and management system requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant international and national technical standards
- Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS), valid Safety Contractors Certificate or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite applications

- Simple Pressure Vessel Directive 2009/105/EC, 2014/29/EC
- Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, 2014/68/EC
- Machinery:
- Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- ATEX 95 Equipment Directive 94/9EC, 2014/34/EC
- ATEX 137 Workplace Directive 1999/92/EC (to the extent applicable)
- Electrical Installation (for Site Electrical Engineer):
- Electrical Supervisors shall have switching and training certificates on 11 kV, 33 kV and higher voltage levels and experience in HV, MV, LV controls and instrumentation
