Skills & Qualifications

Job Overview: As an Electrical Supplies Purchaser, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the procurement of electrical components and materials essential for projects and operations. You will collaborate with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality Electrical Supplies while optimising costs and maintaining inventory levels.
Main Duties:
1. Supplier Relationship Management:
• Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers of electrical components and materials.
• Negotiate terms and conditions, including price, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
2. Sourcing and Procurement:
• Source Electrical Supplies in accordance with project requirements and organisational needs.
• Evaluate potential suppliers, assess product quality, and make informed purchasing decisions.
3. Cost Optimisation:
• Negotiate favourable pricing and terms to optimise costs while ensuring high-quality products.
• Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on the quality of Electrical Supplies.
4. Order Processing:
• Generate purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Track and manage order status, ensuring timely deliveries to meet project timelines.
5. Quality Assurance:
• Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and enforce quality standards for Electrical Supplies.
• Address and resolve any quality issues with suppliers.
6. Inventory Management:
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of Electrical Supplies to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Implement inventory control measures to optimise stock levels.
