SATELLITE AIT ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER TO JOIN A TEAM OF SATELLITE ENGINEERS WORKING ON A SPACECRAFT PROJECT IN STEVENAGE

• On-site in Stevenage
• Initial 6-month contract with a high likelihood of extension
• £40ph (inside IR35)
• An active and transferable SC is required

WHAT WILL THE SATELLITE AIT ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER BE DOING?

You will be involved in designing and performing electrical and functional tests on a variety of subsystems on test benches and spacecraft. Your responsibilities will also include the writing and executing of electrical integration procedures to electrically verify and connect the equipment during the build of the spacecraft. Additionally:

• Providing technical inputs to project test reviews (Test Readiness Reviews, Post Test Reviews, Test Review Boards and Non-Conformance Review Boards)
• Preparing and executing spacecraft system investigations in line with actions from Non-Conformance Review Boards (NRBs).

WE NEED THE SATELLITE AIT ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER TO HAVE…

• Previous experience in Aerospace, Space, Defence or High-Tech Manufacturing
• Electrical Engineering experience
• Competent in the use of various test equipment used for electrical measurements
• Familiar with the Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Test sequence writing and debugging in a bespoke language (C and Java knowledge would be an advantage)
