Our client is looking for someone to join their Operations and Maintenance Team, to contribute significantly to the day-to-day maintenance and operational efficiency of the power station.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support for normal plant operations, addressing breakdowns and defect management. Prioritise tasks to ensure effective maintenance strategies, routine checks, and initial fault diagnosis. Manage outage work packages for safe and timely completion.
- Optimise plant maintenance systems, contribute to asset/plant history, and update relevant documentation.
- Offer discipline support during plant breakdowns and outages, including flexibility with working hours.
- Uphold legislative and corporate standards, advocating for effective safety and operational practices. Support business targets and initiatives related to health, safety, wellbeing, and the environment.
- Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance work. Identify and resolve plant issues, proposing modifications and continuous improvements.
- Fulfil responsibilities related to maintenance contracts, on-site work, and supervision.
- Apply safe systems of work for oneself and team members. Obtain necessary safety authorisations and adhere to established standards and procedures.
