Working alongside the company's Production team, you will be responsible for the Test & Inspection of Low Voltage Distribution Equipment in-line with Quality and Safety standards & procedures. If you are a trained & experienced Electrical Test Engineer who wants to work for a small, successful and friendly company, this is the job for you.
Job role / duties
Liaise with Production Manager, Quality Manager and Projects Team to discuss projects, timeslines and any issues
Inspect and Test of Low Voltage Distribution Equipment
Complete all relevant documentation for each job
Once job is job is complete, pass over to the Despatch team
Ensure all tools are fit for purpose and replaced when necessary
To be considered for this role you MUST:
Possess City & Guilds Qualification with previous experience in Electrical Test and Inspection.
Have BS7671 Wiring Regulations (18th Edition Preferable)
Have a minimum of 4 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grade C or 4 and above including Maths and English.
Ideally have worked in Production/Manufacturing environment
Be aware of BS EN 61439 and BS 7909.
This role will need you to be a team player, learn & acquire new skills going forward, be able to work to deadline and care about the work you do.
