Are you a seasoned electromechanical engineer with a passion for testing specialized equipment in the Semiconductor and electronics industries? Are you adept at fault-finding and comfortable working with live test rigs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are currently seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join a highly successful division of an international manufacturer in Gloucester . As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in conducting electrical and mechanical testing on sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Your responsibilities will also include performing PAT testing of components and conducting leak/decay testing on gas, fuel, and liquid lines. Leveraging your expertise in fault-finding using schematics and mechanical drawings, you will identify and address any electrical and mechanical issues that may arise. Additionally, you will be actively involved in signing off the final test, build, and calibration of equipment before release to dispatch.
Responsibilities:
*Conduct electrical and mechanical testing on sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
*Perform PAT testing of components and conduct leak/decay testing on gas, fuel, and liquid lines.
*Utilize fault-finding skills using schematics and mechanical drawings to address electrical and mechanical issues.
*Be actively involved in signing off the final test, build, and calibration of equipment before release to dispatch.
Requirements:
*Skilled and experienced electromechanical engineer with live test rig experience.
*Knowledge of the 17th/18th edition for compliance and safety.
*Passion for testing and adept at diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults.
