Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per year, inc benefits

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to carry out work within the day to day, reactive repairs team in both residents' homes and communal areas.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out reactive repair work in our residents' homes and communal areas.
• Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with Electricity at Work Regulations and BS 7671 18th Edition
• Testing and certifying work carried out in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations.
• Where necessary, ensure Health & Safety working practices which are essential to ensure the safety of both tenants and operatives, are always implemented.
• Be responsible for safeguarding test instruments and other equipment issued.
• Safeguard, maintain, replenish, and keep records of electrical materials issued for van stock
• Using a PDA to receive instructions, and to feedback electronically details of works undertaken, or works to be undertaken.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations
• City & Guilds 2382-22 18th Edition
• City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
