Carbon60 are recruiting for a number of Electricians to work for a large engineering company that provide pumps, compressors, turbines, and generators.
This Electrician is on a 6-month temporary basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who is apprenticeship trained (or a relevant qualification) and has worked within a related industry.
Role Responsibilities:
- Working to engineering wiring diagrams and P&ID's
- Knowledge of cable tray layout and installation
- Experience of various cable glanding eg Hawke, CMP glands
- Knowledge of Compex, Atex and 18th edition
- Knowledge of instrument records and LV test procedures
Skills and Experience required:
- Apprentice trained in Industrial Electrical Engineer (or a relevant qualification)
- Relevant experience within related industry
- Good working knowledge of Power and Instrumentation wiring
- Knowledge of Compex and Atex is desirable
Both day and night shifts can be considered, the working hours are:
Day shift: 7am-3:30pm finish at 12pm on Friday
Night shift: 9:15pm - 7:15am. Monday to Thursday
Day shift rate: £16.22 PAYE
Day shift rate: £21.26 Umbrella
Night shift rate: £21.59 PAYE
Night shift rate: £28.30 Umbrella
