Electrician

The role

We are looking for hard working and enthusiastic people to join our Power business. You will be required to work on projects across the UK, so a willingness to travel, lodge away from home and work weekends is essential.

Key accountabilities

You will be responsible for the installation, testing and inspection of the allocated E & P programme of works ensuring that all work is delivered in compliance with all relevant standards and procedures.

Skills & experience

The successful candidates will have served an EITB, CITB or other recognised approved apprenticeship. In addition they will have successfully completed the C&G 17th Ed Wiring Regulations course and have considerable experience of working within the field of electrical installation within the railway industry.

C&G2391 Electrical Test Inspection would be desirable.

A full driving licence is an essential requirement for the role.

This role is rostered, 180 hours over a 4 week period which will involve weekend working. The position is salaried at £46,685 per annum.

Location

This is a site based role, travel is essential.
