An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join a rapidly evolving and vibrant company based in Preston. We are seeking a time-served engineer with excellent electrical skills.
The role is for one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of commercial diving equipment. They manufacture hyperbaric chambers, saturation diving systems, diver launch and recovery systems, hot water machines, diving control panels and auxiliary support systems. They also supply commercial diving equipment including Kirby Morgan diving helmets, breathing air compressors, Surface supplied diving umbilicals, underwater camera systems, underwater lighting, hydraulic underwater tools, and underwater NDT equipment.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Qualified in 18th Edition Wiring Regulations preferable
- Experience in an industrial, heavy engineering or manufacturing environment
- High Voltage experience & three phase experience
- Low voltage knowledge
- Panel building & wiring experience preferable
- Aiding with project development & Design input
- Fault finding experience & service work
- Electrical Testing
- Knowledge of working to ISO quality standards is preferable
- Ensure Quality and Health and Safety standards are maintained to the required levels

Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday 07:30 hrs to 17:00 hrs
Friday 08:00 until 12pm
Wage:
Competitive / Subject to experience and knowledge.
Travel:
Yes when required in line with business needs.
