Electrician (Vehicle Maintenance) - Public Sector - Full Time
Join our client, a leading public provider dedicated to delivering high-quality services across Northern Ireland.
About the role:
- Position: Electrician (Vehicle Maintenance)
- Type: Full Time, Fixed Term (until February 2025)
- Hours: 37 hours per week
- Location: Coleraine
- Salary: £30,230.42 per annum
- Holidays: 26 days plus 9 statutory holidays
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs on all electrical aspects of our vehicles.
- Inspections and Standards: Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure our fleet meets PCV standards.
- Diagnostic Expertise: Test, diagnose, and rectify faults in vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Component Management: Remove and replace vehicle components as needed.
- Breakdown Response: Swiftly respond to vehicle breakdowns, providing on-the-spot solutions.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete all necessary administrative duties related to maintenance and repairs.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role.
- Qualifications: Recognised Vehicle Apprenticeship with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant trade or discipline.
