Electrician

Overview:
We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician specializing in electrical remedial work, including Inspection, Certification, and Repairs (ICR) as well as landlord safety certification. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all forms of electrical remedial work and be capable of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform electrical ICR work in compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
2. Conduct electrical safety inspections for landlords and issue safety certifications as needed.
3. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in residential and commercial properties, including wiring, circuits, outlets, and fixtures.
4. Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
5. Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
6. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to electrical remedial work.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as an Electrician specializing in electrical remedial work, ICR, and landlord safety certification.
2. Valid electrician's license and certification to work in the specified location.
3. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and regulations.
4. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
7. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
