Electrician – (Audio Visual)

Audio Light Systems Ltd are looking for an experienced Electrician to integrate within our AV installation Team.

Based in Edinburgh and working throughout the UK. Audio Light Systems are a company with a reputation for quality installations across a wide range of disciplines.

Working within our installation teams you will conduct a range of Audio-Visual installations in addition you will provide electrical works to support our installations.

The role requires an electrician who is looking for a new challenge in a technical focused Industry.

Main Duties

• Ability to follow wiring schematic diagrams and drawings.
• Small electrical installation
• Electrical Inspection & Testing
• PAT Testing
• Fault diagnosis and rectification
• Installation of AV Hardware in line with systems design and specifications
• Installation set-up, functionality testing and client demonstrations of AV systems
• Installation of floor mounted and wall mounted AV cabinets/racks
• Installation, looming, labelling of AV racks including audio, video, and data.
• Installation of pre-configured Routers, Switches and AP's

Role Requirements

• Minimum 2 years electrical installation, test, and inspection experience
• Maintain safe working practices by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

• Skill, knowledge and experience in handing and use of all electric and hand tools
• BS7671 – 18th Edition Certificate
• ECS Electrician / Approved Electrician
• A desire to self-develop to enhance skills and knowledge
• A good communicator who is willing to share knowledge and best practice
• Ability to work alone or part of a team
• Good IT Skills
• Full Clean Driving Licence

The following certification would be desirable but not essential.

IPAF/PASMA

1st AID

SMSTS / SSSTS

Qualified Supervisor

Salary:

£35,000.00-£40,000.00 pa depending on experience

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
