SalaryFully established in 2018 but with years of experience in the industry, we are a truly award winning Smart Home company that works with all things tech. We work in various projects residential and commercial to provide designs, installations and support.
We are a small team looking to expand with more projects, more customers and more technology.
Primary role will be to assist with a first/second fix of electrical and automation systems with our schedule over the couple months.
This can include first fixing full electrical systems, networking data systems, ventilation systems as well as automation control systems (including multi-room audio and visual setups). Assisting with second fixing on various sites as well.
Depending on work load & performance; an opportunity for more hours as well as continual development (further qualifications & education) shall be presented.
Position is open to site experienced electricians assistants/mates or fully qualified electricians & ideal candidate would have their own basic set of tools at least. Willing to learn and be open minded as it won't always be your average 'electrical' job.
A review date will be set and after this review further work will be discussed as well as aspirations within the growing company.
Average working week at the moment will be 30-40 hours.
You would usually be working as part of a small team and will have someone to report to at all times.
Ideal candidate will initially be expected to meet at the office in Ferndown or Somerton each morning before joining someone for that day. There will be days where solo work is required and a vehicle may be provided for these days.
Working away will sometimes be required, accommodation/food and transport will be sorted and paid for the hours worked during the days.
- Clean driving license required
- Preferred but not essential qualifications in electrical installations/networking.
Starting with a 3-6 month contract with multiple review points. Following positive reviews and the agreed time frame coming to a finish; a full time permanent contract will be offered.
Expected start date is flexible.
