Electrician Maintenance - Greenock

Boyd Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for Maintenance Electricians to work in Greenock.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday carrying out Maintenance work on for our client.

The position is based on-site, you will NOT move around to other sites.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems in the prison.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform necessary repairs promptly.

• Install and maintain lighting, power distribution, and security systems.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to coordinate projects.

• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Pay Rate:

• GBP22.00 per hour (GBP42,900 salary)
• GBP33.00 per hour overtime rate (after 37.5 hours)

Requirements:

• MUST be able to pass Disclosure check.
• MUSTbe 18th Edition trained
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician is Beneficial.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and controls.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
• Familiarity with security and fire alarm systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Shift Details:

• Monday to Friday
• 8am to 4pm
