At Doncaster City Council, they take pride in maintaining safe and efficient electrical systems within our public buildings and schools. As part of the team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of the community through your expertise in commercial electrical work.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting full electrical refurbishments in public buildings
- Installing fire alarm systems
- Upgrading mains electrical infrastructure
- Implementing new SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cables
- Setting up smart lighting solutions
- Troubleshooting and fault finding
- Working with conduit, tray, and trunking
- To carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations in accordance with BS7671
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial electrical installations
- Familiarity with fault finding in commercial, industrial, and domestic properties
- Knowledge of fire alarm maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Full driving licence
- 17th Edition Electrical regs
