Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm with a 1pm finish on a Friday

We have a new opening for a specialist engineering company for an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team based in Poole due to a retirement within the business.
As the Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be ensuring that all planned preventative and predictive maintenance is carried out in a timely manner and keep the plant safe and operations running smoothly.
Key duties will include;
- Undertaking scheduled repairs and maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
- Installing machines, tools and equipment
- Ensuring that all electrical equipment is in safe working order in line with current legislation.
- Directing contractors engaged in machine, building and grounds maintenance activities.
- Reviewing production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
- Undertaking fault diagnostics and troubleshooting activities to minimise downtime.
- Developing and updating effective preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensuring that all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Responding quickly and effectively to any emergencies.
- Inspecting machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
- Purchasing of tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
- Training and inducting staff on the safe use of machines/tools.
- Working with management and quality team to resolve maintenance problems and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
For this role we are looking for you to have;
- Relevant Engineering qualifications or served apprenticeship.
- BS 7671:2018 18th edition wiring regulations qualification.
- Hold an electrical qualification equivalent to C&G/BTEC/NVQ
- Be able to read schematic drawings/electrical wiring diagrams.
- Working knowledge of quality assurance and ISO9001.
- Working knowledge of environmental management and ISO14001
- Working knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance.
- A high level of attention to detail
- A professional attitude towards work and a willingness to be flexible.
